Popular health supplements to limit sexual behavior before

Dietary supplements are hotter than ever – especially for those who want to go beyond their father’s time.

Just ask Dave Asprey, a self-proclaimed “father of biohackers”, who told The Post that he spends a lot of $3,000 a month on the brain strengthening of the brain, drugs and potions that stab the body to keep aging aging.

What is Ashwagandha?

This may be the new darling of the health world, but Ashwagandha has appeared long ago in green juice and collagen powder.

The powder made from the roots of small shrubs native to Asia and Africa has been a staple in Indian medicine (the ancient rehabilitation system in India) and has been around for more than 3,000 years.

“Ashwagandha has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine to increase energy, improve overall health and reduce inflammation, pain and anxiety,” Dr. Yufang Lin of Cleveland Clinic General Medicine Center said in an interview.

What are the benefits of Ashwagandha?

Most of the buzz around Ashwagandha revolves around the potential to relieve stress and anxiety.

When your body is under stress, it activates the response to fighting or flying, resulting in a surge in stress hormones like your heart rate, increased blood pressure, rapid breathing, muscle tone, and a surge in stress hormones like cortisol.

A growing body of research has shown that ancient herbs can help regulate this stress response, especially by normalizing cortisol levels.

For example, a 2021 analysis of seven studies found that Ashwaganda significantly lowered stress and anxiety levels compared to placebo, while also improving sleep quality and fatigue.

In 2022, a clinical trial involving 60 students at the University of Colorado revealed that participants who took Ashwagandha root extract for 30 days reported improvements in well-being, a feeling of calm, better energy levels and increased psychological clarity.

Other studies have shown that Ashwagandha may help regulate blood sugar levels, reduce inflammation, improve cognitive ability, and even enhance sports performance.

Ancient herbs have long been used as natural aphrodisiacs in Ayurvedic medicine and are increasingly supported by modern science because of its benefits in sacks.

For men, studies have shown that Ashwagandha may help increase testosterone levels and initiate sexual desire.

A 2022 study found that men with low sexual drive took 600 mg (MG) of Ashwagandha (MG) daily, and their testosterone spikes dropped by 17% without stopping calories. They also reported stronger desires, better arousals, more satisfying orgasm, and overall increase in bedroom performance compared to the placebo group.

According to Healthline, Ashwagandha seems to improve women’s sexual function as well.

In a 2015 study, healthy women who took 300 mg supplement twice a day reported significant improvements in awakening, lubrication, and orgasm over 8 weeks. The researchers believe that these benefits may be behind these benefits, thereby reducing stress from the herbs.

However, before you get your early date night double dose, be aware: overuse of it can backfire in the bedroom.

“Ashwagandha is really powerful…but too much can reduce your ability to orgasm,” Asprey told The Post. “So, unless you’re nervous, maybe don’t take it before a hot date.”

Although there is no official dosage guideline, most study participants took 300 mg to 1,000 mg per day for up to three months, according to Health.com. Doctors can help you fine-tune the dose based on your personal needs.

Other side effects may also be buzzing

In addition to potentially hindering orgasm, Ashwagandha can also cause stomach upset, lethargy, diarrhea and vomiting, Lin said.

There is limited research on Ashwagandha’s safety for pregnant women, so they are often advised to skip it, especially since high doses may increase the risk of miscarriage.

If you have hormone-sensitive prostate cancer, are breastfeeding, or use benzodiazepines, anticonvulsants, or barbiturates, Ashwagandha may not be the right one for you. This is also wrong for anyone who is going to have surgery or deal with autoimmune, thyroid or liver problems.
