First Dildo & Need Help

Hi everyone. Let me just start with the obvious:
My boyfriend, while on a trip to a city we wanted to visit, brought me to a sex shop. We are long distance and he wanted to help me with that since we only get to see each other once a year or so.
We purchased a silicone dildo, non-battery operated that is medical grade silicone. I brought it home with me.

The issue now arises that I still live at home with my family who doesn’t know I own one. My means of cleaning it are essentially relegated to sneaking it into the bathroom and then drying it with a fan near my bed. I don’t plan on honestly using it a ton (works better externally rather than internally tbh) but I do want to take good care of it.

I read online that a polyester drawstring bag would be a good option for storage, and that scent-free hand soap is a good option, and that it needs to be 100% dry before storing it, but I would love more tips/recommendations.
