Vaping and sex – what are the real dangers to your body?

Vaping after (or even during) sex isn’t surprising — after all, lighting up during post-sex bliss is a thing of the past. But with a recent spate of lung problems, lung failure, and even death seemingly linked to vaping, perhaps we should take a step back and look at the information we have so far…

Are e-cigarettes the same as cigarettes?

Well, yes and no — it depends on the liquid or “juice” you use. You can buy e-cigarettes with nicotine levels ranging from high to zero. They come in a variety of flavors, from traditional tobacco to cherry. The two are very different because e-cigarettes don’t have the smoke and harmful chemicals of regular cigarettes.

The relationship between e-cigarettes and sex

Besides lighting up after sex (some say it gives them a boost while relaxing them at the same time), some people just don’t like the smell of tobacco or smoke in general. And then there’s the issue of secondhand smoke.

However…

Nowadays, people like to have sex while vaping, immersed in the smoke, cloud and smell.

return…

Smoking can also lead to some habits, such as human ashtrays, Capnocturnal hypersomnia (getting high from seeing or smelling someone else smoking), combining vaping with other kinky or BDSM acts like whipping or bondage. There are now thousands of porn videos dedicated to vaping sex scenes, which can be as mild as someone just sitting there, or as tame as someone vaping in elaborate ways or blowing smoke into various orifices.

E-cigarettes and sexual health

It’s no surprise that cigarettes (from the nicotine to the other harmful chemicals) can have a huge and devastating effect on your libido and ability to get aroused. But here’s the thing…

If you are still using e-cigarettes that contain any amount of nicotine, you are still facing the same health problems.

how?

Nicotine has been shown to reduce libido, not to mention causing blood vessels to narrow and blood flow to decrease — thus leading to erectile dysfunction. And the longer you’re addicted, the worse your erectile dysfunction will be.

in conclusion

  • Are e-cigarettes a good way to help quit smoking? Yes
  • Should non-smokers join this trend? I think not
  • Are e-liquids containing nicotine a good alternative to cigarettes? No
  • Are e-cigarettes generally safe? Unknown

Since this is a new trend, there is still not much scientific information about long-term use (regardless of which juice you use). Is a small amount of juice better than a cigarette? Yes, but you still have to deal with secondhand smoke, etc.

It’s all a great middle”Improvement, but still not good enough“problem.

All in all? I’d err on the side of caution and not use nico or expose my partner to it.
