That's why you might be abandoned today

Cupid’s bow may be sad.

The most romantic day of the year is just around the corner – but many unsuspecting lovers will be abandoned by their beauties by February 14.

According to experts, the Tuesday before Valentine’s Day, known as “Red Tuesday” is the most common time for breakups, and they say the looming holiday prompts people to reevaluate their romantic relationships.

“The breakdown happened because people don’t want to pretend they feel on Valentine’s Day,” Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationship expert, told the Daily Mail.

Romantic professionals added: “They don’t want to go through romantic moves, they’d rather be honest, even if it means heartbreaking.”

A survey conducted by a business website llicitencounters.com found that 36% of respondents abandoned a partner in the week leading up to Valentine’s Day.

Of these, 66% decided to resign in Tuesday’s Red.

Among those surveyed, 27% said they were separated from other important people because they were falsified on February 14.

“Some people feel Valentine’s Day and the expectations that come with it are trapped in getting stuck, rather than working for the lasting relationship they see,” Leoni explained.

Maybe it might be worse: Every year when marriage begins, married couples may need to be alert to breaking up, as summer January is known in the legal world as “divorce month.”
