Someone Made a Bug's Life Fleshlight - and Charged for It

A Bug’s Life – Pixar

So let’s imagine that you took an affordable sex toy, disassembled the components, painted the outside, put a face on the end… and charged $2,000 for it.

Yes, I had the same reaction as you.

But if you think that’s the whole story, you’d be wrong. Let’s get to the juicy details…

First, for those who are not familiar with Fleshlights, They are famous masturbation condoms There are various textures. They are a bit pricey, but the quality is pretty good. You can also get various molded ends (like famous porn stars and even a monster’s mouth).

Second, if you’re reading this, you’re probably old enough to remember Pixar’s A Bug’s Life – An ant tries to save his colony by touring the circus. So, do you remember the Heimlich maneuver?

Yes, that cute little guy.

After seeing the shape of the Fleshlight shell, Austin artist Malek Lazri decided his next project would be to turn a cartoon caterpillar into a sex toy.

How did he do it?

  • The housing is just a regular Fleshlight, but painted
  • He then created the inner shell out of clay and filled it with silicone.
  • Once it solidifies, he pours another layer of silicone to create the final product.
  • The face was drawn with a permanent marker

After that, just put it on Craigslist and watch the money…roll in (not).

Here is the description…

“This is it, the Holy Grail, one of 4 in existence. Never released publicly, only for personal use by a select few Pixar executives. 100% satisfaction guaranteed, very minor wear, gently used, don’t miss this one!!!”

I think the immediate discussion is about false advertising – Pixar didn’t make these nor distribute them to executives. But what about “lightly worn” and “lightly used” – does that mean he tested it first?! But it gets even weirder when you realize there’s no actual hole to insert your dick into.

The artist revealed in an interview with Vice that he didn’t actually think of it as a collectible (ugh), but rather that the idea came from a meme. “I just thought it would be great to make it real and realize it in real life,” he said. “I put some of my own ideas into it.”

Asked if he was worried that Pixar might receive a cease-and-desist letter, he said: “I would love to, just getting that email would be great.”

Pixar has yet to comment on the matter and the toy is not yet for sale.

From a certain perspective, it’s hard to get the viewer’s attention at times. It could be seen as a performance piece, used to draw attention to his other art. It’s not the first time someone has done this. Or… it could just be another weird sex toy – who knows there are many more.

How much would you be willing to spend on a homemade toy like this? Share in the comments!
