North Korean soldier accesses internet in Ukraine, fascinated

North Korean soldiers go online in Ukraine, addicted to porn

Most recently, North Korean troops sent to the front lines in Ukraine to support Russia were given unrestricted access to the internet—an exciting idea for them. According to the Financial Times, this newfound freedom led these soldiers to become overly addicted to online pornography.

The report also states that soldiers from the isolated country are “devouring” adult content. Still, it did not detail how they gained insight into the internet usage of North Korean troops sent by Kim Jong Un to Ukraine.

U.S. Department of Defense spokesman Army Lt. Col. Charlie Dietz said they were unable to verify any information about North Korean personnel’s “internet habits or virtual extracurricular activities,” the New York Post reported.

More than 7,000 North Korean soldiers armed with AK-12 rifles, a variety of mortars and assault weapons were deployed near the Ukrainian border on Monday as Russia strengthens ties with North Korea. According to Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Service, the troops completed training at five different locations in the Russian Far East as part of preparations for potential Russian assistance in an attack on Ukraine.
