My wand broke! What should I do now?

My wand (not expensive, just bought from Amazon) makes a screeching sound every time it pushes against itself. Sounds like a car skidding or something. I don’t think there is any way to fix it? I’m so frustrated! If this wand can’t be fixed, can anyone recommend a good wand that works?
