My Rude Ex Demanded a Refund for Our Holiday – Here’s How

She paid for it – but this was the payoff.

When Marina Smith’s ex-boyfriend asked her to wire back the $446 she owed him for vacation money, the model and influencer decided to exact revenge.

“Since he wanted that, I paid every last penny,” Smith, 34, quipped to Need To Know.

After the couple ended their eight-month relationship in July this year, the Brazilian beauty didn’t expect to hear from her ex again.

However, to her surprise, he asked for a refund for the trip they had taken together before their breakup.

“How dare he charge me to travel with him?” she said. “I thought he was kidding.”

Smith didn’t ignore his request and sent him the money — but not through a digital payment app like ApplePay.

“I could have transferred the money in seconds, but I’d rather give him a little more trouble,” she admitted. “I enjoy seeing him complain.”

So the Bulgarian cover girl of Glamour sent $466.53 worth of coins to her ex-boyfriend.

“Maybe this way, he’ll think twice before charging someone such ridiculous fees,” Smith said with a laugh.

“This is ridiculous. [ask]”, the model said of her ex-husband’s request, admitting that she was intrigued by the little prank.

“At least now he can’t say he didn’t get paid,” she added.

But Smith isn’t the first beauty to seek revenge against his ex-wife.

Previously, The Washington Post reported on another woman seeking revenge, 40-year-old Jen Ley, who got the ultimate punishment for her ex-boyfriend’s infidelity by leaking his late mother’s top-secret pizza recipe online.

“I had no right not to give it to him, but at the same time, she gave it to me as a gift,” said Ley, who posted the recipe in the Facebook group out of spite.

Many people online supported her move to hide the recipe from her cheating ex-boyfriend.

“I’m glad you gave the money to us and not to him. That’s just petty as hell and I support you,” one person wrote.

“If his mom wanted him to have the secret recipe, she would have given it to him,” another argued. “She gave it to you so you could seduce new men because she knows her son isn’t a jerk.”
