Is the Thermal Magic Wand rechargeable?

Okay. I just bought this wand for my wife yesterday and she hasn’t used it yet because it needs to be charged. So I plugged it in about 20 minutes ago and the wand is noticeably hot to the touch. The light is still on so I’m guessing it’s not fully charged yet. I left it alone while we went out to breakfast and I’m a little nervous so I’ll unplug it but is this common with new wands or rechargeable wands in general? Or should I just find a replacement? Thanks!
