Having trouble positioning the Hitachi Magic Wand…

So, we recently bought a Hitachi rechargeable wand (aka Magic Wand rechargeable), and we’re sorta having trouble with the positioning. The sheer size and flat top makes it unlike any vibe I’ve ever tried (for context, my go-to vibe used to be the Lelo Smartwand medium, before they changed to v2).

Mostly, H brings me to orgasm by holding the vibe to my clit and fingering me with his other hand. It gives me amazing blended (clit + G-spot) Os! But we just can’t seem to achieve that with the Hitachi. The sheer bulk, in addition to the fact that the head is shaped like a cylinder instead of being completely rounded, means that instead of our usual 45 degree angle, he ends up just pushing the flat top of the head against my clit. The head is enormous, so this basically blocks access to my vag if I’m lying down.

We’re thinking about using the side of the head instead of the top, but I’m not sure how he could hold it like that while still being in a position that he can finger me from. Any ideas? How do you or your partner hold yours?
