Bridesmaids skip the wedding and continue traveling
She gave up on the wedding – but still wanted to take a vacation.
A disgruntled bridesmaid is baking online after revealing how she intends to skip her good friend’s destination wedding – but keep the wealthy flight and hotel and turn the trip into a romantic getaway with her boyfriend.
The 27-year-old aired her drama on Reddit’s hot “I’m A-he” forum and admitted in a July 9 post that she went wrong in the girl’s escape and exited the bridal party with her bride’s sister.
According to possible bridesmaids, chaos stands out on a single trip with five other ladies, including the groom’s sister Mia, who joined the bridal party at his request.
Redditor claims Mia was the last person to leave the Airbnb bathroom “holding earrings.”
Despite the later discovery of earrings, the MIA allegedly has been doing “excavations” and never apologized.
What really steamed the bridesmaids? Bride, Ava’s silence.
“I didn’t say anything to Mia, but told me she believed me, I was very upset that Awa’s other friends were by my side,” the woman said.
“After the trip, I sent Ava a message saying I was very upset that she didn’t stand up for me or say anything after Mia found her earrings.”
But instead of apologizing, she got radio silence from her friends.
So the original poster dropped its own bombshell: “I’m going to quit the Bride Party.”
The bride was not excited, pointing out that her decision would make the best man uneven and that “the divorce was too close to make a huge change.”
Despite this, the bridesmaid bowed – but didn’t want to bow.
She noted that the bride and groom had “covered flights and hotels” – and her boyfriend also “buyed his tickets.”
So, she thinks, why waste a pleasant vacation?
Her boyfriend advised them to “go a holiday” especially because they “have spent a lot of time and couldn’t change it.”
It prompts the Internet to rebound. Commentators slammed her for turning her wedding into a selfish accommodation.
“You’re actually planning to steal from ‘friends’. She bought your flight and hotel so you can attend her wedding instead of going to F-K with your boyfriend.”
Another said: “You want to punish your friend for misunderstanding with the groom’s sister, is she paying for you to go there? You sound like a bad friend.”
Another user didn’t sarcastically say, “Put yourself on your shoes. You threaten to throw the wrench into the entire wedding plan because she didn’t leave her own bachelor party to defend your honor because she’s already told you she’s not a fan and it’s difficult. It’s just a self-centered TBH.”
Others interjected, “If I were a bride, I would cancel the hotel room.”
And, she wasn’t the only one who turned a wedding into a personal vacation – another pair packed their luggage and crossed the mainland for “I do it” and they weren’t even invited to attend.
As the post previously reported, a shocked couple flew over 14 hours and forked thousands – just found that they weren’t even invited to the destination “I do”.
“Technically, we flew in the world to a wedding,” Yasemin Sarli explained to people in a recent interview.
Despite the early saving text, the couple never got a formal invitation – but that didn’t stop her ex from going all out.
Convinced they made a list of guests, he “booked everything” and reportedly, other guests reportedly paid $1,500 for flights and $3,000 for sale here.
Whether skipping the vow or completely breaking down, these travelers prove one thing: wedding season may be for love – but some people are just for the benefit.
