Osaka Castle Park is a beautiful attraction to visit year-round, but in autumn its ginkgo trees turn into a bright golden color. Midosuji Street
Midosuji Street is a boulevard that spans the heart of Osaka, providing a distinct urban view over the autumn leaves. Daiitokuji Temple
Daiitokuji perched on Ushitaki Mountain and is known for its incredible autumn leaves. It can be accessed by train and buses at Osaka Station, but it takes about 2 hours. This temple is part of the sacred Katsuragi Shugendo pilgrimage trail, and although many of the original complexes were destroyed by war, Vermillion still remains Tahoto (Two-story pagoda) – an important cultural property of the country – remains at the core. Against the backdrop of the crimson leaves, the pagoda is truly amazing. Visitors can also explore the hiking route behind the temple, which winds through waterfalls and suspension bridges.
