Review: EdenFantasys Small Wand

The EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand is a small clitoral wand vibrator. At $39 (currently on sale for $31), the price was attractive, so I was curious.

Design-wise, Le Petite Wand sticks with tried-and-true elements. A small round head, a flexible neck, and a tapered shaft. There are some decorative options here too – lines are embedded into the head and shaft for aesthetic purposes only.

It’s cute and compact, too—at 6.75 inches long, it’s one of the more compact options on the market, making it perfect for discreet travel and storage.

Despite its low price, the EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand still has the features you’d expect from a high-end toy. It’s waterproof, rechargeable, and has a silky matte silicone coating.

However, it’s only available in one color: purple. The purple is very saturated (purple is my least favorite color for sex toys, which is unfortunately the most common color in sex toys)… but if you like bright purple, you’re in luck.

(Note – do not confuse Le Petite Wand with the discontinued Le Wand Petite. That is a completely different company.)

How to use EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand

The EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand has two buttons.

1. Press and hold the power button to turn it on.
2. Press it against your body. While it’s designed for use on the clitoris, there’s nothing stopping you from trying it on other parts of the body – it’s not anally safe, though, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
3. Press the wave button to cycle through the 10 vibration patterns. There are 3 steady states and 7 patterns.
4. To turn it off, press and hold the power button again.

Package

There isn’t much packaging for the EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand. It’s sealed in a clear plastic bag. I guess this is to keep the price down, but it’s a bit incongruous (and not very gift-friendly, in my opinion).

Inside the package are the wand, a brief instruction manual, and a USB charging cable.

If you want a dedicated permanent storage bag, consider adding something like this to your cart.

Material and Care

EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand is Silicone. This product has a silky matte texture. Silicone is a great material for sex toys because it is easy to clean, non-porous, and hypoallergenic.

This sex toy waterproof. arrive CleanI rinse with warm soapy water before and after each use. You can also add toy cleaner.

If you want to add lubrication, make sure to use a water-based lubricant (don’t use silicone, as this may damage the silicone surface of the toy).

The EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand is rechargeable. Insert the needle of the charging cable into the small self-healing hole marked “DC” (near the base). A full charge takes up to 2 hours, giving a maximum of 1 hour of playback (which is different from what it says on the website (“1 hour of USB charging gives 1 hour of non-stop playback”).

My experience with the EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand

So what does the EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand feel like to use?

It feels…ok. Moderately powerful, but noisy. It’s quiet. I like that it’s made of silicone, rechargeable, and waterproof. And it has a two-button interface, which makes it easy to use. But it doesn’t give me the powerful roar I like, and I crave more charm.

I have a confession to make: Even when it comes to sex toys, comparison is still a pleasure killer. When you’ve reviewed as many sex toys as I have (over 300!), it’s hard not to compare one sex toy to another.

In this case, we’re looking at a product we recently reviewed, the EdenFantasys Sleek Power Wand. It’s also $39, but it’s much nicer looking and packs a lot more power. That thing rumbles.

The Sleek Power Wand isn’t perfect, but for the same price, it gives you a much better motor. It’s not as compact as the Le Petite Wand, but I’m blown away by its power (and better sound). I can’t fully enjoy the EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand when I know there are better options. Sorry, Le Petite Wand!

EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand Review – Overall Thoughts

Nothing Specifically Something’s wrong with the EdenFantasys Le Petite Wand. For $39, it’s not bad. I wish it was more powerful, but I appreciate its small size and features (waterproof, rechargeable, and silicone!).

However. EdenFantasys sells the Sleek Power Wand for the same low price of $39. From the looks of it, it’s in the same category of sex toys, but it performs much better. So here’s my advice: if you’re looking for a small wand near EdenFantasys, and you can choose between the two, I recommend the Sleek Power Wand.
