1. Keep Cool

10. Choose your lubricant wisely


Last but not least is lubricant.

Did you know that different lubricants have different pH levels, and that extreme acidity or alkalinity can kill sperm? Not to mention other ingredients that can cause damage or slow things down.

While vaginal lubricants are graded differently than anal lubricants, each brand will have its own specific pH balance due to the ingredients it uses (and not just those that specifically have spermicidal properties). Especially KY jelly, it is a very nasty jelly.

And, while things like canola oil and baby oil have less of an impact on sperm, they are not good for your vaginal membranes and can lead to yeast infections… or worse.
