Today we’re looking at finger sleeves – textured sleeves that can enhance the sensation when you’re fingering someone. While there are many finger sleeves that come with vibrators (often called finger vibrators), we’re only going to talk about finger sleeves without vibrators.
Here are ten examples, my thoughts on them, and an overall review.
1. BESTOYARD Sleeve
Not sure if this is white label, but it probably is – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The details show it’s silicone, which means it’s body-safe and easy to clean, but I’d still do a burn test just in case (just in case). The texture looks pretty standard and the price is acceptable.
My only concern is the size – it looks like it might be a little small. The silicone is somewhat stretchy and flexible, but if you have larger fingers, this might still be an issue. But remember, too loose can also be bad, as it might slip off while you’re having fun.
overall evaluation – 6/10 (There are better options at better prices, but it’s still okay)
2. 6-pack textured sleeves
There’s a lot more feel here, which is good! The downside (to some people) might be that it’s made of rubber. It’s not toxic, but since it’s porous, you can’t share it with anyone other than the person you originally used it on.
It might have better stretch than a silicone sleeve – at least I hope so, since they say you can wear it over a dildo for added stimulation. The description says you can wear it over a “body part”, which I’m guessing they mean a real penis. If you want to do that, make sure it’s not tight (same principle as a cock ring) or you might hurt yourself.
overall evaluation – 7/10 (I wish it would fit comfortably over toys and dicks)
3. Horror Ring
This is a questionable version of the 6 Pack Rings – very questionable. Amazon page provides Material zero indication. It could be anything from rubber to jelly. Also, when you click on the seller, they only seem to sell this product. Sorry.
overall evaluation – 1/10 (Too many red flags)
4. BANG BANG finger gloves
I know I said “no vibrator” but this one isn’t part of the internal design and is perfectly usable if you take it out. What caught my attention wasn’t just the ribs, but the fact that it fits two fingers (more suitable for internal stimulation) and there’s a loop around the wrist so nothing can slip out.
I wish there was something better than the TPS rubber, but it’s better than the alternatives.
overall evaluation – 6/10 (has a lot of merits)
5. Finger Gloves
This takes the finger sleeve to a whole new level. With a different texture on each finger, you can be sure it will stay on the sleeve while you play. The description says it’s “FLEX TPR” – I know TPR is rubber, but I’m not sure what the other part means. Either it’s an additive that makes it flexible, or it just describes the normal flex of rubber. No idea. I like the design, but it’s a “one size” deal, which is not good if you have large hands.
overall evaluation – 5/10 (like the concept, would like to see the material confirmed)
6. Boxing gloves
Yes, technically this is a masturbation glove, but it has enough texture on the fingers that I consider it a cross between a finger glove and a sexual “multi-tool.” Another reason I included it? It’s silicone! What it may lack in versatility, it makes up for in safety.
overall evaluation – 9/10 (Impressive odds)
7. Pink Finger Cots
Assuming the product description is true, this is another cheap option if you want to try different textures. I also like it better than the first sleeve because the bumps are spread all over the place instead of concentrated at the tip.
overall evaluation – 5/10 (good for beginners, but only has one sleeve)
8. Crafty Fingers
This is probably one of my favorite sets. They are made of silicone and each set has a unique texture (not the bumps you see). It also shows attention to detail with a small cutout around the joint (so when you bend your finger, there is no discomfort or resistance). The price is pretty reasonable too.
overall evaluation –9/10 (I think it’s the winner)
9. Foreplay Settings
This set is also from “Orion” – the same product as Tricky Fingers. However, while the previous model had many advantages, this sleeve seems to be a step down – TPE and the same old ribbing. Even the price is about the same as Tricky Fingers when it is on sale. Hmm.
overall evaluation – 5/10 (We took a wrong turn somewhere)
10. POSH Vortex
There are a lot of pros here – the material, the price, and the fact that there are four sleeves instead of one or two. I just wish the texture wasn’t exactly the same on each finger – otherwise, this would be my first choice.
overall evaluation – 7/10 (It’s a shame about these textures)
