Work Step 2 – Sexual and Relationship Rehabilitation

Addicts’ definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

A problem many restorative and porn addicts encounter in the center of Step 2 of the last four words of the step, Restore our sanitymainly because this sentence strongly implies that we are crazy, and most of us think we are not. For those of us who are fighting the “restore our sanity” part, would you ask: “If another person did the same thing as me, would I think he or she had left the deep ending?” Usually, if we answer this honestly Question, we realize that if other people engage in behaviors similar to our own, we think this person is at least a little crazy. Then, based on this, we can start to look at ourselves in the same light.
