Why is it bad to keep silicone toys together? What should you do…

I’ve heard some people say that silicone toys shouldn’t be kept together and should be stored in different bags or boxes. Why is that? I have a lot of toys and I never knew this. All my toys are now in a wooden box under my bed. I’m pretty sure they’re all silicone. What’s the safest way to store them?
