What is Trystology? And why pay attention
Most of our society has not read the 2025 project. This is a silent danger.
As I took a break from the daily operations that were once stuffed into the most beautiful little corner of downtown Ventura, I had the time and space to reflect on what it really represented.
It has always been empowering women.
We once said “empower women to have their own sexual behavior.” Then we expand it: “Give people their own sexual behavior” because we believe in inclusion. We always have it. But this deeper mission, the purpose of the soul level, is rarely seen.
For the outside world, we are often simplified to label: sex shop. I remember receiving an email from the police department from “TryStology Sex Shop”. It seems that the word (separately) deletes the nuances, education, and empowerment we strive to cultivate.
I would hear people walking past stores and mumbling, “That’s a sex shop,” laughing, or worse, disdain. That’s OK, we use bitch to hit nonsense shirts, fuck I want coloring books and offensive crayons. It’s OK, wellness products, pajamas and lingerie, private consultation or thoughtful planning of countless women (and men) stories.
This is the thing about nuance: it is lost in a society that has been oversimplified and judged.
That’s what I’m seeing now.

Trystology has not disappeared
We closed our actual location in May. It was a difficult decision, partly due to the economic reality of a downtown that has been struggling to survive. But let me know: Trystology has not disappeared.
We continue to serve our customers through online stores, providing access to the same curated, thoughtful products that have helped many reconnect. We are still here – through private dating, educational classes and pop-up shops, we are able to bring emotional wellness and empowerment into new spaces and new conversations.
Because the mission did not stop just because the store was closed.
If anything…it’s more important now than ever.
Why I Read Project 2025
Just as Trystology’s purpose (a tool for providing sensuality for intimacy and connection) has been overlooked or misunderstood by many, most countries in the country have overlooked projects. I bet that 90% of the population has not read the money. However, it has reshapeds the “acceptable” laws, culture and definitions of the United States.
I’ve read it. I need to read.
Because I won’t blindly accept what I say. That’s part of the problem – people like me who ask too many questions and are often labeled as troublemakers. But history shows that the people who ask questions are those who before they get on board.

What I’ve seen
The supplier of pornography (intentionally vague) is targeting publicly in the 2025 project. They want them to criminalize it. Incarcerated. Tagged as a sex offender. Their business is closed.
Does this sound extreme? This is. But this is also written in the plan.
When I look at the language they use, I know: They are not just talking about pornography. They were talking about me.
Trystology has nothing to do with porn. But in a society that refuses to distinguish between intimacy and indecent and perverted, between toys and threats…we all have the risk of being united.
Now we see. Almost 40% of the 2025 projects have been implemented. The same goes for over 50% of Esther projects (which is an ideological cousin). These are no longer edge ideas. They are policy. They are the law. They are influence.
Turning point
Yes, I’m afraid. Fear that something I build with love, intention and courage will be redefined as danger or deviation. Fear of giving people, especially women, the ability to restore their happiness, their agents, joy… will soon be illegal.
But I was also very angry. Because people still don’t know. Because most people have not read the beautiful print of what is going on. Because silence will not save us.
But it has changed a little recently for me. I watched Governor Gavin Newsom speak – one of the few public leaders boldly speaks what is going on in our world. With our President. Not a marginal idea. But there is a real, organized threat to freedom, autonomy and expression.
Then, I heard the voice of us not caring about the club, a group of women who speak their truth without fear, no matter how uncomfortable it is, which makes others feel uncomfortable. They remind me that fear cannot win. Staying quiet never made us safe.
That was when I found the sound again. Maybe…I remember I never really lost it.
I just have to listen to others using their voices.

So what is trying?
It is a refuge, rebellion, and a reclaimed land that we have always been to claim.
Maybe… maybe… still.
If you are reading this, please do not let this moment pass.
Read the document.
Share the truth.
Defend nuances.
Because what is about to happen… has arrived.
