A husband hired an influencer to create a video on Cameo (a platform that allows fans to purchase personalized video messages from celebrities or influencers) telling his wife he wanted a divorce.
“Someone ordered a cameo from us and said they wanted a da-vorce,” Chris and Patrick Vörös (aka the Vöröstwins) said with a quirky smile in a video posted on October 24.
The Hungarian-Canadian influencer and professional wrestler stitched together a divorce memo on TikTok to tell soon-to-be-divorced Victoria the unexpected news.
“What’s wrong Victoria! We just want to say that David loves you very much! But he doesn’t love you anymore and he wants a divorce.” The twins laughed. “D-separated!”
While the news was depressing, the influential duo found a way to make the devastating news sound energetic, jumping up and down in the air and cheering.
According to the law firm Sacks & Sacks Family, 65% of divorcing couples seek divorce due to poor communication, as evidenced by David and Victoria. He couldn’t break the news of the divorce to his wife himself, so he preferred to pay someone else to do it.
Many people online thought the divorce announcement was creative and hilarious.
