For my last post of the year, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the most read articles on The Psychology of Human Sexuality in 2012. Combined, the ten posts that follow have been read more than a quarter of a million times and represent a rather diverse range of content, with the exception of the fact that not one, but three Top Ten Lists of Sexual Fantasies appear. Apparently, there are a few voyeurs among you.

Now sit back, relax, and relive the sexiest stories of 2012.

10. Are There Different Types of “Friends With Benefits?”

9. What Are Americans Doing Beneath The Sheets These Days?

8. Fantasy Friday: A Top 10 List of Sexual Fantasies

7. Remote-Controlled Sex Toys Add A Whole New Dimension To Phone Sex (Editor’s Note: And they make for a great Valentine’s Day gift too!)

6. Do Gay Men’s Sex Lives Match Up With The Stereotypes?

5. 5 Myths About Homosexuality Debunked By Science

4. A Top Ten List of Women’s Sexual Fantasies: Zac Efron, Fire Fighters, Batman, And More

3. A Top Ten List of Men’s Sexual Fantasies: Football, Threesomes, Star Wars and More (Editor’s Note: Are you sensing a pattern yet?)

Who would have thought the most read article of the year wouldn’t even involve human sex? Not me. But I’ll consider it a lesson learned. Now I really know how to ruffle your feathers.

Thanks for reading, and here’s to a safe, healthy, happy, and very sexy 2013!
