I’m willing… no.
A 42-year-old Texas man discovered that when the marriage certificate arrived at home, he married his ex-wife without knowing it – a few days after the two broke up.
Kristin Marie Spearman, 36, was accused of sending a gift bag from Bath and body engineering that contained some “products” and gave a copy of his name to the host’s marriage certificate on June 13, according to Fox 44.
Spearman allegedly also included a photo of himself, holding documents that legally acknowledged their relationship.
The feared victim, who was not named by authorities, admitted that the couple was in a romantic relationship when they received their marriage certificates with the county clerk’s office around June 2.
Both parties “must show up in person” and have valid identification to receive a marriage certificate application, according to the McLennan County website.
Spearman and her ex-wife never entered the altar. The two argued when the victim claimed he didn’t want to establish a relationship with her anymore.
Spearman seems to have other plans for their future.
Beverly Hills Police Chief Kory Martin claimed Spearman walked behind the victim’s back and convinced a pastor to prove the marriage, even though the man was not present, he was not even aware of the ceremony.
Chief Martin told the media: “I don’t think that in 23 years, I’ve ever heard of anyone who has managed to marry someone who is not in the ceremony in some way.”

Police said Spearman obtained a certified marriage certificate to the local county clerk’s office and submitted the certificate to the officer after the pastor signed the fraudulent wedding.
According to media reports, the shocked victim learned about the marriage submission after he abandoned her a few days later.
Chief Martin added: “I’ve talked to the victim and he’s going through a big process trying to solve this problem.” “So, this is another situation – not only are you worried about ‘what does this mean for my safety and property?’ You know, it’s a huge conversation, but “What can I do to fix it?” ”
Police arrested Spearman and charged her with stalking on third-degree felony.
She was booked at the McLennan County Jail.
