Tears on the richest dildo?

I hope someone can help me out as I’m sitting here right now mourning the loss of a $100 toy that I haven’t even had a chance to try. My birthday recently passed and I placed an order for a shevibe. Unfortunately when it arrived I was feeling very under the weather and I’m still sick right now so really wasn’t in the mood to play with it. Earlier today I wanted to take a shower to see if my new dildo would work in any way. Once out of the shower I realized I wasn’t in the mood but I noticed the slipperiness of the water allowed me to use the base of the dildo like a suction cup so I sucked it on the shower. Well that was a mistake as it fell off… and now my perfectly unused brand new toy has a tiny tear on one part… I’m so upset. To make matters worse it’s out of stock on the website. Do I have to throw the toy away? Always use a condom? Can I just scratch it with a lighter and fix it? I’m so sad this is my only soft dildo and I was so excited to use it. Does anyone know what I should do?
