I’ve been asked if I do everything I suggest here in my marriage.
I have no idea.
I don’t do it, and for the same reason you shouldn’t do everything I suggest: our wives are unique individuals.
- My wife is very practical. So when I bought her a vacuum cleaner for Christmas one year, she was excited. But most women won’t be satisfied with Christmas paraphernalia.
- My wife is not particularly interested in romance. So I don’t do a lot but pick carefully to achieve the best effect.
- My wife is an introvert. She loves going out with me, but adding a date night to a week when she’s out multiple times doesn’t bless her.
I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Some of my suggestions didn’t sit well with Lowry, and others needed to be tweaked to fit.
Know your wife and apply what I and others have said with this in mind.
