Debra Doak is the co-founder of the Divorce Coach Academy®, a certified divorce coach, a certified divorce financial analyst©, a family court mediator, a podcast host, and High-Conflict Divorce for WomenIn addition to working one-on-one with clients, Debra is dedicated to developing and training new divorce coaches and raising awareness of the value of professional divorce coaches. She is an experienced instructor, mentor coach, speaker, and group facilitator.

Debra has dedicated her career to divorce coaching as an early/alternative dispute resolution approach. She believes that while all divorces involve some degree of conflict, transformational work at the individual level can be the key to successfully resolving divorce and co-parenting disputes.

She received her bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Allegheny College and pursued graduate studies in econometrics at Ohio State University. Prior to her career in divorce counseling, Debra’s career included serving as Vice President of Operations in the financial services industry, Director of Communications for a megachurch, and Director of PR/Marketing for a national manufacturer.
