The Yaesu side of Tokyo Station is undergoing a major makeover with the opening of Tofrom Yaesu. The mixed-use redevelopment project will commence in phases in 2026 and will include Tofrom Yaesu Tower and Tofrom Yaesu The Front, bringing offices, retail, restaurants, cultural venues and a large bus terminal to one of the city’s busiest transport hubs. The project aims to reposition Yaesu as a destination rather than just a transit area.


Tokyo Dream Park (March 2026)
Tokyo Dream Park is a new entertainment complex developed by TV Asahi in Ariake and is expected to open on March 27, 2026. Opened on March 28, 2026, Oimachi Railroad is a large complex directly connected to Oimachi Station. The development includes office, retail, dining and hotel facilities, including the new Metropolitan Oimachi Rail Hotel. Together they work to reposition Oimachi as a lifestyle and transportation hub, not just a commuting area.

Hotel Tokyo 1 (early 2026)
Hotel Tokyo 1 is part of the Tokyo World Gate Akasaka development, bringing the American brand’s sustainable luxury philosophy to the city. The hotel is expected to have more than 200 guest rooms, wellness facilities and design-forward public spaces that emphasize natural materials and environmental responsibility. The Mori Trust has announced it will open in late 2025, but the hotel is widely expected to begin full operations in 2026.
