Silicone Toy Ripped: looking for advice

TLDR: Can I still safely use a ripped silicone dildo if I use a condom? (First time poster, soz) Got a new toy that came in the mail today. The issue is that the deliveryman left the parcel where my dogs could get to it. I got to them before too much damage could be done but they chewed on and ripped a small piece of the outer silicone (surface level, the toy is still fully functional). I’m worried it’s no longer body-safe but would it still be safe if I use a condom?
