Instead of trying to be a successful person, try to be a person of integrity.
For most recovering sex and porn addicts, the first goal is to develop what Dr. Rob Weiss calls sexual integrity. When developing a sexual integrity plan, it’s important to remember that your sexual desires and choices may seem perfectly fine to you, but consternate others in your life—for example, your religious parents, or Your non-religious spouse. Don’t fall for all your flirting, or the fact that the person you’ve been flirting with loves you deeply even though you don’t reciprocate the feelings in any way. Other sexual integrity issues involve the use of pornography, what and how much information you should reveal to someone you are just dating, and your sexual desires, same-sex attractions, bisexuality, kinks and fetish interests, etc.
