Pompeii wins Sanrio role rankings in 2025

On June 29, Japan’s beloved entertainment company Sanrio announced Annual Role Ranking Results. Of the 63 million votes worldwide, Fluffy (wearing his trademark beret) ranked first with 5.6 million votes, winning the championship for the first time in nine years and breaking cinnamoroll’s six-year streak.

The five-year champion ranked second with 5.4 million votes, while Pochacco finished third with 3.9 million votes. In the shocking event, Sanrio’s top three characters are dogs, proving that they are indeed men’s best friends.
