Police have arrested a man in connection with a dismembered body found around Osaka Prefecture. Parts of the victim’s body were found in an abandoned house in the mountainous area of Shanga Mountain, while other bodies were found in a nearby apartment building.
Terrible discovery and quick arrest
After a thorough investigation, on January 25, a male’s head, hands and feet were found on the mountain in Osaka in a town called Yamatecho. The cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation.
Eight days later, police arrested an unemployed Osaka resident in Wakayama Prefecture, 160 kilometers from his Osaka residence, allegedly abandoning his body. He has admitted the allegations.
Another body was found in an abandoned apartment building in Chuo-ku, Osaka, 14 kilometers away from the place where the head, hands, feet and feet were found.
The body in question belongs to Takamitsu Kamioka, a 52-year-old civil servant who reportedly lost his wife on December 29, 2024. It is further revealed that Kamioka and Oki live in the same apartment, although they live on different floors. Oki’s motivation is unclear, although records show that he used Kamioka’s cash card in a convenience store on January 10.

Unidentified luggage
On December 28, 2024, CCTV footage captured images that looked like Oki was wearing various poses and pulled a suitcase near Osaka.
Stills wore a long blonde wig, Sills Show oki walked from his apartment block to the train station. Police believe he transported the victims’ remains to the suitcase, transferred them from his apartment to an abandoned building, and finally arrived in the mountains later that night.
