People are often told to protect their smartphones from external hackers rather than partners.
According to Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator, your important other may be to use sophisticated monitoring software to monitor your text messages, calls, and even locations without even realizing it.
The frightening part is that other people of yours can install spyware by downloading the app to your phone.
“Never let your phone unlock around people you don’t fully trust and always have a screen lock,” Porcar told Sun
If you suspect someone can access your phone and are watching your every move, Porcar shares the dishes to watch with the sneaky sign.
The first one is related to the battery of the phone.
If your smartphone no longer holds the charge and suddenly dies – it may be due to the spyware running out of battery because it keeps running in the background, Porcar said.
“These monitoring applications never go to sleep mode and they need to constantly maintain active connections to send data to remote servers.”
Another obvious sign is if your phone is always hot and never seems to cool down. “When a spy applies to consume processing resources, the phone gets hot,” the expert told The Outlet.
Porcar also recommends suspicious people to check their phone’s data usage because “these apps consume data in the background and sometimes use a large amount if they send images or record audio.”
Another bizarre way your phone can help you catch your stalking partners is if your device starts to illuminate randomly or makes sound when not in use.
Experts say some spyware can allow others to access your phone remotely.
“These features allow someone to listen to your conversation or watch your surroundings – a serious violation of privacy,” Pokal told The Sun.
Finally, if you get a text message with unusual characters or code, things are there.
“If you notice a message that arrives and then disappear or see notifications from an app you don’t recognize, you need to investigate immediately,” he said.

To protect yourself and your phone, “delete applications you don’t know, run a security scan with trusted software, and check for applications with suspicious permissions.”
While any kind of spy or sneaking in with a partner’s phone call to see what they do is a breach of trust, people certainly still do it.
But sometimes, you don’t have to do a lot other than sitting down to watch your partner’s behavior, especially if you suspect any cheating in your relationship.
If they suddenly hide their phone, or never block it from sight, it could be a clear signal that they are not good.
If they are considered suddenly “work late” or have no normal responsiveness, that is another major red flag.
And, if you finally peek and notice that their history has been deleted – it most likely means they are using the app, searching for something or someone – they want to cover up their tracks.
