Some (but not all) sexual and porn addicts have pathological relationships with masturbation.

In constructive sobriety planning, sometimes referred to as a circular or boundary planning, a potentially problematic gray area is masturbation. For individuals who force masturbate (with or without pornography), this decision is clear: masturbation is a prohibited activity (inner circle/boundary). For others, the clarity is less. In this case, we must ask ourselves whether masturbation consistently contributes to the “high” of addiction. According to the answer, masturbation may be considered as prohibited inner circle/boundary activity, slippery but still active (middle circle/boundary) or healthy activity (outer circle/boundary). When it comes to masturbation in a sexual sobriety program, it is best to make mistakes on the cautious side.

Today’s mission
Consider your masturbation history. When did it start? How is it upgraded? What role does it play in your addiction?
