Low self -esteem is a factor in sex and pornographic addiction

We are not inherently low self -esteem. We got it. We learn.

Sexual and porn addicts have certain characteristics. One of these common features is that because of our low sense of self -esteem, our useful behavior feels verified and worth it. Generally, due to inconsistency, neglecting or abuse of parenting, we have learned in the early days of life, and our thoughts and needs are not important. Therefore, we began to suspect that the issue of putting us in this position was finally (usually with external assistance). We have determined that we think it is a bunch of things that are essentially wrong or bad or incredible for ourselves. In other words, we have developed low self -esteem. Then, somewhere along the way, we learned that if someone wants our sexual behavior, it will make us feel (at least for a while) worthwhile. No wonder we started to search for it?
