What inspired you to create Le Wand and what has your journey been like from the beginning to now?
ASR: I’ve always been a fan of wand massagers. I think they’re a versatile, powerful vibrator. It became a personal goal of mine to elevate the wand category, make it feel a little more sexy (a little less medical), give it some features that would make it more user-friendly, and add high-quality attachments to support more types of play. Le Wand was well received early on, and it’s been incredible to see the brand grow and bring some new excitement to an already stale category.
What’s the story behind the name Le Wand? How does it reflect the personality of your brand?
ASR: Le Wand is a simple French word that means “the magic wand.” It embodies our mission: to combine all the key product attributes of a magic wand on the market into one incredible product.

What has been the most challenging aspect of establishing and growing the Le Wand brand?
ASR: The biggest challenge in building a brand that prides itself on quality and design is convincing consumers that it’s worth paying a premium. We’ve always been committed to creating a line of ‘once-purchased, value-for-money’ products that live up to expectations and last a long time. This can be frustrating if people lose sight of the bigger picture, which is that paying a little more up front gets you a product that performs to a higher standard.
How does Le Wand help to combat stigma around the use of sexual health products?
ASR: We always joke that we make vibrators that can be repurposed as back massagers, but not the other way around. We create our pleasure guides, social content, blog posts, educator partnerships, and marketing campaigns with the same fun, positive attitude. We are not shy about designing our products as masturbation or sex tools, and that is reflected in all of our communications.
How do you incorporate customer feedback into the development of new products?
ASR: Believe it or not, we’re already on version 8 of our Le Wand OG rechargeable massager. Customer feedback has been used for each product update, including vibration intensity, noise levels, and button ease of use. We really want our products to be the best, and that means listening and responding to our customers’ needs. We’ve even released a product in late 2024 that was developed in response to overwhelming customer demand.

What are the coolest features of Le Wand products that make them must-haves?have?
ASR: My favorite feature is that the weight of the product is concentrated on the top of the wand (rather than the handle). I also like that users don’t feel vibrations when holding the wand by the handle. These two lesser-discussed features make it much more comfortable to use.
I truly believe that having fun shouldn’t be a pain…unless you’re into that kind of thing.

ASR: Skims. It’s a disruptive brand that really embraces inclusivity. I feel like their brand values and dedication to their customers align with ours.
They’re also really cool.
What self-care habits or routines do you recommend incorporating Le Wand products into?
ASR: In my opinion, masturbation is a form of self-care, so this is an obvious ritual recommendation. After a busy day at the office, I love using the massage stick to massage my neck and back. If I’m really stressed, I’ll add our acupressure attachment and a cozy heated lube. I use the massage stick to help soothe sore breasts when I’m breastfeeding my daughter. Plus, the white noise from the motor helps lubricate my baby to sleep. Win-win!
What advice would you give to someone who is new to using a massager and wants to explore their options?
ASR: The wand massager has great sensation for many areas of the body. Using the wand can help relieve pain in sore areas and enhance pleasure during intimate play by massaging the wand anywhere you would use your fingers or tongue. The wand has great sensation for all body areas, so encourage partner play. Additionally, the wand is not phallic and is often easier to introduce to partners who are shy or even feel threatened.
What common misconceptions would you like to clear up about using massagers?
ASR: Many people assume that the wand is for internal use. While we do make attachments that can be used internally, the wand itself is not designed to be placed inside the body.
