How to adjust to a grippy/rough/hard silicone anal dildo?

I made another post, but it didn’t get much of a reaction. I decided to try to get used to this dildo so I wouldn’t have to replace it. Basically, I’ve started using it for anal, and I love it so much! I ended up ordering the NS Novelties Colours Pride Hard Dildo for anal use. I have another NS Novelties dildo that is the exact same shape and hardness, but a different colour, and I wanted to get a dildo with the same construction specifically for anal use (I use another vaginal dildo, and I love it!). Anyway, I have another dildo that is slightly smaller than this one, and I always use it with some plugs to warm it up without any pain or problems. However, when I use *this*, it’s rough to the point of being uncomfortable. It’s definitely not a matter of size, because I have two TPE dildos of the same size and larger, and they slide in and out comfortably, without even having to warm up. I also use glass dildos with no problems. Now, I poured lube over the dildo and it warmed it up a bit, but it was still a little irritating for me. I’m very relaxed when using it, but it’s less uncomfortable than my other dildos. I really like it and I want to use it instead of the TPE one, but it’s too rough! My vagina likes the firm texture, my ass likes it hard, but it’s too stimulating to insert into my body! Can anyone give me some advice? Is there any way I can learn to like it? Any tips to make it less rough?
