How do I test if a dildo is silicone? And how do I clean it…

So I recently bought 2 toys on Amazon and I was wondering if they are real silicone, so how can I test this? I also accidentally got some feces on one of the toys (first time using a toy), so if it is not silicone, how do I properly clean it? I know silicone just needs to be boiled, and it actually won’t be boiled until the weekend, so now take a bath in hot water? Also, how do you boil a silicone toy? Just pour it into a boiling pot and let it touch the bottom of the pot or place it in the water?
