Has anyone had issues with the lovense solace?

I bought the solace from lovense about two months ago. The product was great and I really liked it but after I went through the first full charge and it needed to be charged again, the charging port seemed to be broken. I contacted support and they were super helpful and I just ended up getting a 50% refund because I didn’t want to go through getting another shipped. I regret this now as I want to get another.

That being said I’m pretty sure the problem with it should be relatively fixable seeing as it’s just the charging port, but upon opening it the wires are connected with some adhesive that I wouldn’t know how to remove. How should I go about this? Should I try to somehow remove it and replace the charging port, maybe find someone who can fix it, or order a new one?
