Happy Kink Day 2024: Kink Poll Results
There are scores on the door…that’s weird, who knew! The BDSM survey is back for another year and we’d love to hear about your interest.
Rocktober, International Fisting Day on the 21st, Porn Humiliation Day on the 22nd, and Kink Day on the 6th! If you’re in a bind, it’s going to be a busy month. So what kind of quirks are driving this trend?
eccentric curious person
We asked what kink you’d like to know more about, and there’s one winner that stands out. Aydin took the podium with 37% of the vote.
Meanwhile, the score is tight on Twitter, with Pegging taking the lead.
So expect a more in-depth look at the practices of orgasm control and denial… certainly not too soon. Taste and look forward to it
Trouble with the choice
There’s no doubt which BDSM activity excites your fantasies the most. No matter who you are or where you’re responding from, “Boundage” (47%) is everyone’s favorite. Young or old, you just want to be tied down or tied to someone. However, this is actually down from last year! And interest in gags (11%) is as low as ever.

Not surprisingly, your most commonly used BDSM toys or gear wasn’t far behind, with 49% regularly using restraints. Especially our Twitter followers, over half of whom have some devoted bondage fetish.
Let’s get niche
If you’ve held it together so far, this is where things get competitive. Most communities are divided when it comes to what material turns you on: lace or latex?
Facebook and Instagram strongly favor lace, with the popularity of this lingerie staple at 49% and 52% respectively. However, on Twitter (sorry, X), their turnout is a whopping 44.4%, which is totally latex. I wonder how this affects regular Meta users compared to Twitter users? If you’re attracted to the smooth feel of latex, why not check out our latex care guide to keep your bodysuit in tip-top shape.
But, surprisingly, Twitter users rated reduce When asked if they’ve ever called a sexual partner “mom” or “daddy,” Instagram’s responses were more mixed.

Sure, it’s a close thing, but still far more than any other user base. On Twitter, 62.3% of people refused to use these names, while on Facebook, 95% would not refer to their partner by their parent’s honorific. Is it a matter of age? Parenting stuff? Is this a crossover with the “bookstagram” community and their thing about authority figures (paranormal theme optional)? Who knows.
get weird
While everyone is encouraged to embrace their fetishes, apparently people are still a little shy about sharing their desires. 49% of respondents admitted to having uniform kink – come on, it’s time to embrace your fantasies! This isn’t uncommon, so bring out the costumes. Let’s be honest, who hasn’t thought about sliding down a fit firefighter’s pole or having a sexy policewoman strip-searched?
When it comes to runners-up, however, it’s a real mixed bag. Spitting received 15% of the votes on Instagram, but foot fetish was more popular on Facebook, with 33% of the votes, while users on Twitter voted for water sports, with 23.6% of the votes.
It’s another year of the BDSM survey, are you one of the voters? Any insights into answers or questions you’d like to see next year? Leave your thoughts in the comments below and let us know if you’re celebrating Kink Day. Stay tuned next week for our annual femdom ball tour.
