Flowers: A scientifically proven way to make her smile

Oh my goodness! It’s been over six months since I suggested you send your favorite lady some flowers.

If you think your wife doesn’t actually like flowers, you’re definitely wrong.

• One study offered 147 women in New Jersey one of three gifts. They were hoping to see a Duchenne smile, a true sign of happiness. Every woman who received flowers smiled this way. A basket of candies elicited this smile from 90% of the women, while a candle only elicited a Duchenne smile from 77%.
• A large survey found that 96% of women like to receive flowers when they are unexpected.
