Firt toy ideas

A friend told me i really should get a sextoy because i dont have a bf. But there are so many options i just get lost in them. I kinda like the look of a vibrator or realistic dildo. Whats a good toy for a beginner because i dont have any experience. Also whats a good place to buy? At home i dont get privacy and my packages get opened sometimes, at the drugstore they sell a vibrator but people could recognize me.
