What breaks you is not the pressure you feel at once, but the way you perceive and process it.
When we are new to recovery, many of us find ourselves replacing (or wanting to replace) our major addiction with other compulsive (and highly emotionally distracted) activities. Sometimes this will behave as a cross-add. For example, when we stop acting, we may suffer a lot of uncomfortable emotions without compulsive sexual desire and stopping the trend of these feelings, and we may turn to drinking, drug use, smoking, eating, eating, gambling, gambling, spending or any other pleasant substance or behavior or behavior. Knowing this, it is very important for us to focus on other behaviors, especially during the first few months of the recovery process.
