Does the game controller sync with the interactive software?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if I can sync my old Xbox controller with software on my computer and/or phone and use it for interactive videos and games, using it as a vibrator. I have looked around but can’t find anything that can do this, short of buying a separate dedicated device. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
