If Thanksgiving is at your house this year, your wife has a lot of cooking and other work to do to get ready. Tackle dinner on Wednesday night to make it a little easier.
It had to be something simple and easy to clean. Picking up or ordering pizza would be a great option. Make it your job to prepare the meal, get everyone to the table, and all the cleanup afterwards. If your wife needs the table to cook on or you want to start decorating it early, have a picnic on the living room floor.
Another option is to take the kids out for dinner so your wife can have the house to herself. Ask her if this is better.
