Come with me to study abroad in Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona and other places

We are excited to announce that our study abroad program with the Sexual Health Alliance will be returning in 2025! We’ll be back in Amsterdam again, but we’re also offering some brand new courses in Prague, Barcelona and Reykjavik. Join Dr. Lehmiller and SHA for one or more immersive, once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunities where you’ll learn all about sexuality and culture.

In 2025, we will be offering spring and fall programs! We will be visiting Amsterdam and Prague in April/May, then Barcelona and Reykjavik in September.

These courses are designed for sex educators, therapists, and researchers at all levels, from students to professionals; however, it is also open to anyone who just wants to travel the world and expand their knowledge. In addition to learning from Dr. Lehmiller (who has taught academic courses abroad for nearly a decade), there will be a variety of guest speakers, including local sex educators.

For qualified professionals, AASECT continuing education credits are included in the course, so this is an opportunity to earn a CE while visiting another part of the world and broadening your global perspective.

Our courses offer unforgettable, immersive experiences and the opportunity to learn from leading experts in each city. You’ll deepen your understanding of human sexuality by visiting unique attractions like the Penis Museum in Reykjavik, the Prostitution Information Center in Amsterdam, and the Sex Machine Museum in Prague. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore local culture with city food and bike tours.

Each course lasts several days, with daily excursions that combine sex education and amazing cultural experiences. We’ll see the Northern Lights in Iceland, ride a catamaran on the Mediterranean in Spain, take a sunset cruise along the canals of Amsterdam, and more!

Early registration is strongly encouraged as our class sizes are limited to allow for a more personalized experience. Partner tickets are also available if you want to bring someone special with you.
