Can silicone toys be trimmed?

Hi, I just recently bought my first toy, it was a butt plug, I didn’t pay attention to the size, it was definitely a pig. Is there any way to trim it off with a knife or something? I haven’t tried it yet but it’s pretty scary. Measurements are 11.02 inches long. Top diameter 4.9 cm. Middle diameter 6.3 cm. Bottom diameter 7.7 cm.
