Can I use oil-based lubricants with silicone toys?

I have been using oil based lubricants like coconut oil and another product called coconu with my silicone toys for quite some time. I just saw an article today that said oil based lubricants should not be used with silicone toys even though others have told me it is fine to do so. My question is, is this true?
