Can I pair my partner’s sex toy with my phone for an extended period of time?

Basically I want to buy my girlfriend a sex toy, but I want it to be a remote controlled vibrator. I don’t have a lot of money to spend, so the stuff on Amazon will probably be cheap. The only problem is we won’t be able to see each other for a while, so if I do buy them one, will I be able to pair it if it’s not near me? We’re still relatively close, we’re about 3 hours apart from each other and in the same country, if that matters.
