Bride Grand Slam "disrespectful" family

The blushing bride was interrupted after guests were scattered with a bucket of fried chicken scattered in a luxurious brunch and then boasted on social media.

Six weeks after the wedding, the newlywed marriage was Reddit venting frustration at the Subreddit R/Wedding and measuring whether she overreacted.

She shared that she spent eight months planning a wedding with her husband and parents, after much deliberation, they chose to celebrate the “elegant morning ceremony” and held a brunch reception on a venue known for its “exquisite dining” by the famous chef.

Many users also say that, like the venues described in the Post, food or drinks outside are usually not allowed. Anatoliycherkas -Stock.adobe.com

“Moments in advance, we have the menu items in advance a few months in advance, including shrimp and toast, quiches, cookie sticks with a variety of jelly, sausage and bacon, bacon, chicken and waffles, etc.”

She also explained that in the early days of their relationship, she and her husband began the tradition of enjoying Saturday morning brunch, so the reception was their first brunch as a married couple, an extra emotional occasion for the couple.

Like almost any wedding, there are also some unwelcome family members present.

She explained: “My uncle and his wife are in a difficult separation, his wife has a history of impoliteness and has taken advantage of the rest of the family. We were surprised to hear that he brought her to the wedding about 3 days ago, but given the situation, it wasn’t said that.”

Apparently, during the 15-minute drive from church to reception, the uncle and his wife felt woodpeckers, so naturally, they stopped at a fast food restaurant and stopped for a few buckets of fried chicken. The bride clarified that it wasn’t a problem, and in fact, it was totally good–the wife’s actions really made her really worse when she arrived at the venue.

After entering the reception and evaluating the luxurious brunch sauce–the bride clarified a lot of options that were even enough to send it home as the leftovers with the newlyweds, her uncle’s wife returned to the parking lot, “searching the remaining fast food restaurant, and then she re-entered it with its reception hall and its reception room and opened our decor in its restaurant.

Still, this rough move is not the boiling point for the bride.

Apparently, the uncle and his wife took “photos of eating fast food on the table (the publicly branded packaging all appeared)” and “they now posted these photos on Facebook twice”, leaving the bride and her mother playing a big role in planning, hurting and offense.

To increase the insult of injury, other family members commented on the chicken offender’s post, writing: “Nothing is more classic than bringing fast food to a dining wedding!”

“I struggled to feel like I was being disrespectful throughout the day, and we put a lot of time, money, energy and thought into the plan, and every time they post about it, they dig deeper into the knife,” concluded Reddit Post of the Bride. “I don’t want to comment on the post because I’m afraid to be seen as overreacting or like Bridezilla, but it’s very painful.”

Although angry brides often do a lot of flak flak online – taking it from this woman, she asks her toddler floral girl to organize her hair to better match in the photos, or to super specific dress codes specified by the bride-to-be – this reddit offline comment straightens on one side of the original poster.

“When you literally deliver fried chicken, they ate fried chicken, and it’s me fried I ate fried chicken.” “It’s obvious to me, she just wanted to make a scene.”

“I personally wouldn’t let this get me up at night,” another person suggested. “She embarrassed herself, not you, and Facebook posts that somebody called her out were a perfect example. She might have laughed at their comments, but trust me when I say she is the only person who doesn’t look good here.”

Most of the comments agree with the bride and offer their own stories, from a new groom not eating their own reception food and ordering McDonalds to order McDonalds to the venue to a large group of family members who complain about the wedding menu in advance.

“It sounds like your other guests are judging them harshly, too. I’ll make others stand up for you like that family and you’ll be an elegant bride beyond everything. Obviously, no one likes this woman, it doesn’t make sense, let her ruin your day!” a wise Reddit answered.
