Bride discovers the identity of the wedding collapsed 4 years later

The bride said, “I do… don’t know this guy.”

Michelle Wylie has been trying to guess the identity of an uninvited wedding guest she saw in a snapshot taken on a special day for the past four years.

And now, thanks to the power of social media, the mystery of her marriage has finally been resolved.

“It’s always in my mind, who is that, why is he there?” Wylie, 38, from the UK, told SWNS at her wedding in November 2021 that this is an unfamiliar guy. “After all this time, it will eventually be discovered.”

Millennials (Millennials) married her husband John at the Carlton Hotel in Prestwick, Ayrshire.

“Once I got a sample of the wedding pictures, I noticed it right away,” added Wylie, a digital facilitator at the NHS. “We all said, ‘Do you know who that is?’ We were asking family and friends and no one had any ideas.”

She remembered: “No one remembers where he was that day, and we now know he slipped straight away after the ceremony.”

Hopefully reaching the bottom of the puzzle, Wylie usually shares these images on Facebook, assuming someone ends up being a “ranspeople” who bumps into her orgy.

But, sadly, until this week, the newlyweds “never leave” in her search.

“I’ve been browsing wedding pictures and I’m just thinking, ‘I’m going to send a lot of followers to someone and ask if they can share it,” Wylie said.

She approached content creator Dazza, with over 400,000 Facebook fans and 129,000 Tiktok subscribers, asking him to post the image on his platform.

“Daz proposed it, we found it for two hours [him],” Wylie revelled.

The unknown intruder is Andrew Helliman.

But he wasn’t just some sneaky little soldiers who drew his jokes by invading free food and wine – La Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn’s 2005 friend Buddy Flick “Wedding Crashers”.

Instead, Helliman just made an innocent mistake.

“I attended the wrong wedding!” He confessed to SWN after seeing Wylie’s wedding photos on Dazza’s page.

“Four years ago, my partner was a bridesmaid (male bridesmaid) at the wedding of his friend Michaela, and I was invited to add a wedding to his,” explains Helliman, 33, a painter and decorator. “For some reason, he told me it was at 2:00 pm at the Carlton Hotel in Prestwick, and it was actually at the Great Western Hotel in Al.”

“He has left in the morning to help with everything new people do and then let me go to the wedding myself.”

Helliman delayed to the feast and took only a few minutes to pull to Carlton, who believed that the wedding celebrations took place outside the hotel, for example, the bagged flute blower who welcomed the invitation with tunes when entering the venue was for his partner’s friend.

“I remember thinking, ‘It’s cool, it’s obviously the right place,” Helliman recalled, who just met the bride and didn’t expect anyone else to know outside her and his Beaux.

He added: “I parked my car inside. I entered the hall and saw the groom standing and waiting nervously.” “I’ve never met Michael’s husband before, so I thought, ‘Okay, this must be Ben.'”

“The fact that I don’t recognize a person in this place doesn’t cause any alarm bells.”

But once a perfect stranger, Weiley, starts to head to the altar.

“The music started and everyone stood up and turned around and watched the bride walk through the aisle, “Oh my God, that’s not Michael! Helliman said he was mixed.

“You can’t stand up and walk out of the wedding at the wedding, so I just have to commit to the act and sit there awkwardly for the next 20 minutes, trying to be inconspicuous.”

After Wylie and John exchanged “I do it”, Helliman escaped Michaela’s wedding.

He joked: “I’m almost as popular as the real bride and groom, and I’ve been retelling the story to people most of the night.”

Despite his best efforts not being ignored at Wylie’s ceremony, the wedding photographer caught him in accidental acts, prompting her to pursue his identity for many years.

Thanks to Dazza, Wylie and Helliman for finally meeting face to face on Thursday.

“It’s incredible,” Wylie said. “I can’t stop laughing when I hear this story. [Andrew] Storytelling is great. ”

“You just haven’t heard of something like this happening,” she continued. “I just can’t stop laughing at it. It’s great to finally find out who it is.”

Now that they have officially met, it is unlikely that pairing plans will stay in touch with them.

“Our wedding was a perfect day,” Wylie Gush said, adding that she hoped Helliman would stay at the wedding instead of leaving. “But this [blunder] Added another great story, which gives us more special memories. ”

“Of course, it exudes a lot of smiles on people’s faces.”
