Are my toys really silicone?

I’ve bought a lot of toys over the years, mostly silicone ones, so I know what they usually look/smell like. I just ordered some new toys from a small store and when my toys arrived they had a smell similar to burnt rubber. I’m wondering if this is normal? Are these toys really made of silicone? Is there any way to test them? I’m just skeptical because, like I said, I’ve purchased many silicone sex toys over the years and so far none of them have this smell. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
