Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
Your adventure begins with your arrival at Srinagar Airport. Once you check into your hotel, you are ready to explore:
1. Mughal Gardens: Take a stroll through the tranquil Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chashme Shahi and soak in the beauty of these historic gardens.
1. Dal Lake: As the sun sets, embark on a romantic journey to Shikara on the tranquil waters of Dal Lake. The reflection of the sunset on the water creates a magical atmosphere.
Local Market: End your day by browsing Srinagar’s lively markets. Don’t forget to try some delicious local street food!
Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Today, we headed to the beautiful town of Gulmarg, just 2 hours drive from Srinagar:
By Cable Car: Opt for a thrilling cable car ride up to Afarwater Peak, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views.
Winter Sports: If you visit during winter, Gulmarg turns into a snowy paradise, perfect for skiing or snowboarding.
Beautiful scenery: Soak up the serene ambience of Gulmarg, surrounded by lush meadows and towering peaks.
Day 3: Gulmarg to Pahalgam
Next, we will head to the picturesque town of Pahalgam, about 4 hours away:
Betaab Valley and Chandanwari: Explore the majestic landscapes of Betapur Valley and Chandanwari, both places are known for their natural beauty.
Mount Baisaran: If you’re interested, you can go horseback riding to Bai Saran Mountain, which is known as “Little Switzerland” for its lush green meadows.
Local Market: At the end of the day, you can try some local delicacies and explore the quaint markets of Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam to Srinagar
We returned to Srinagar, but the adventure did not stop there:
Shankaracharya Temple and Hari Parbat Fort: Visit these iconic landmarks that offer both spiritual significance and stunning views.
Market exploration: Delve into Srinagar’s local markets and perhaps pick up some unique souvenirs.
Relax: Relax at the hotel and reminisce about the wonderful experiences of the past few days.
Day 5: Departure
When your journey ends:
Souvenir Shopping: Spend the morning shopping for some souvenirs, the perfect way to remember your trip.
